Playing with Fire

2025

Screenshot 2025-07-10 at 15.19.12 copy.png

A multidisciplinary dance experience, connecting dancers, an opera singer, and a Shibari rigger in a site-specific house. The piece brings together rope work, group dance, and live music into a complete experience that touches on the intense energy of life and war from an intimate perspective.

From the Piece

From the reviews

“An original and immersive work that transcends the boundaries of dance, steps into the space, and powerfully engages with real life… An artistic experience of high involvement, intellectual depth, and strong emotional resonance… A one-time event… The dancers create moments of breathtaking beauty – some filled with human connection, a sense of togetherness, and moving touch, while others evoke loneliness, struggle, collapse, exhaustion, and pain… It’s clearly painful, and at the same time, so very beautiful"

Portfolio

"Suddenly, the magic begins… It feels like being part of a play… a spellbinding ritual"

Creative Writing

“It takes courage to bring to life such a complex project… Fascinating. Evoke a sense… of searching for deep pain that touches a profound point of pleasure”

Ruth Eshel, dance critique, founder of ‘Dance Now’ magazine
