I thought that if we managed to stay together all these years it meant that we’re not as lost as everyone else. But I’m lost, we both lost, and you’ll regret it all your life. You’ll meet my amazing wife, two kids, a dog, you’re right that I’ll be a great dad. I’ll lose hair, but in a cute way. And you’ll have a mediocre spouse. You’ll make it in life, I still think that, but with a hole in your heart.
"Piano Between Us" reflects on the pain of a breakup,
inspired by a personal journey of learning piano during lockdown and the experience of loss.
In this collaboration, the musician also dances, while the dancers share original live music.
